My greatest achievement over the past 40 years has been earning the title of entrepreneur. The road has been anything but steady. In more seasons than I care to admit, I slipped into the role of mercenary, exciting in the moment, but no more fulfilling than a Big Mac. [1]

This page has a lengthy introdcution, summary of my current focus, and a detailed history of my creative journey. Each section has a number of resources, and if you scroll to the bottom, you will find an intelligent PDF that updates in real time, timestamped, and provides the details.

Entrepreneurship is about far more than making money. It creates. It sparks trends, shapes cultures, and shifts lifestyles. It influences law and politics. It generates jobs. It can deepen disparity, or it can create, protect, and promote equality.

At its best, it is the power-filled heart of our identity, a microcosm that reflects who we are and how we live, and is, in turn, shaped by the changing consciousness of our globally connected society. As the true influencers of culture move toward collective responsibility and shared vision, business must respond with new models.

Over the past decade, my work has focused on helping emerging growth creators stabilize revenue. Revenue matters, but people matter more. The planet matters much more. Protecting against inequality is non-negotiable. If you are not clever enough to do all of that while enjoying the benefits of entrepreneurship, you may be a mercenary. You are not yet living your potential. You are certainly not yet a creator or an entrepreneur, and you are missing the best part of all of this. [2]

Like many creative or executive leaders, everything I have I created. I do not believe in luck, but without question I always have found myself within that light. I have five core values in life, but those are only superseded by two definitive words: privacy and guardianship. These words will not change.[3]

The world is shifting. Not slowly, radically. Intelligent technologies are decoupling talent from traditional infrastructure, and in their place a new class is rising: creators. 7.SUNS and its New Brave World exist to serve them.

The third season of my journey as a creator kicked off with the launch of a series of venture funds. I am deeply proud of what the New Brave World team and Intelligence Council are bringing to life through New Studios, New Labs, and Atmosphere. 7.SUNS has launched the MVP of a protocol for creators, an intelligent system to help creators optimize and gain, rather than reduce, their lifetime value, and we recently released the first portion of our first publicly disclosed venture fund.[1]

New Brave World adopted the tagline “Inventing the Future,” but the third life of the internet and the emergence of new intelligence are not about a portfolio of JPEGs that look like monkeys. This civilization was, in many ways, invented long ago. What has changed is accessibility. That accessibility is rapidly redefining who we are, reshaping global financial infrastructure, and enabling new forms of community, value creation, exchange, and digital ownership. This is inter-world democracy.

The social framework itself predates the Roman Empire. What this third life is doing is assigning real value to information, far beyond an emoji. It addresses the paradox proposed by James Clerk Maxwell in Maxwell’s Demon, delivers on the promise outlined by Richard Florida in The Rise of the Creative Class, and aligns precisely with the conditions of necessity and opportunity described by Jared Diamond in Guns, Germs, and Steel.

This is not a game or an experiment. It is not a future state. It is a current, trillion-dollar annual opportunity: the creative economy already generates $2.3 trillion a year, 3.1 percent of global GDP.[2]

I could continue, but the only thing you need to remember about this new civilization is this. Everything is new. Less than five percent will be facilitated through a device, a screen, or novelty hardware. Our lives are about to transform more than we ever imagined possible. I live in the future and operate in today. The power of the system is not in isolation. It is in orchestration.
